"This is a friendly, nurturing school. Parents say that adults warmly welcome them to this school and they enjoy being part of a compassionate school family." OFSTED Oct 2021

We know that some children like to bring food in to share when it is their birthday or other special family times. However we have a number of children in school who have very significant (and potentially life threatening) allergies. If our child is brining treats of this nature please bring in individually wrapped sweets/biscuits so children with allergies can be kept safe.

Milk In School

One third of a pint of milk will be provided daily for those children who pay a small termly charge payable in advance. Pupils who partake in the "Milk in Schools Scheme" benefit from a subsidy from the Intervention Board. This represents a significant reduction in the actual cost of milk. When parents are receiving income support or other benefits, an online application for free milk may be made by visiting

In addition pupils in receipt of free milk will be eligible for other benefits in school eg free school trips. Please ask in school for more information.

Fruit For School Scheme

Under the Change for Life scheme each child is provided with a piece of fruit or vegetable each day. The fruit is available from the classroom to be eaten at morning break time and is free of charge.
